Vaganova Level 2
In Vaganova Level 2, a repetition of the exercises already learned in Vaganova Level 1 are expanded upon in greater quantity and at a faster tempo.
The students development of the strength in the legs and feet are increased in this level as well as the coordination between movements.
Students begin the study of movements on demi-pointe and increase their strength and vocabulary of pointe work.
CLASS STRUCTURE
Elite 2 students will receive a Classical Ballet Class and a weekly Stretch & Conditioning Class
Classical Class
These classes are dedicated to the development of the Vaganova Level 2 vocabulary, strength and classical technique.

Stretch & Conditioning Class
Stretching - focusing on attaining the flexibility required to perform positions and lines in classical ballet.
Conditioning - exercises targeted at developing core and general strength to prevent the student from injury.

Floor Barre
At the beginning of some of the Classical classes, students will do floor work which helps train the student to use the correct muscles while performing movements required in class. It's an excellent way to develop the students strength.

Pointe
In the Vaganova Methodology, the teacher alternates between allegro and pointe work during the last portion of the class. To avoid confusion, students are required to bring their pointe shoes to every class.
